The Sunti Golden Sugar estate is Nigeria’s first and only greenfield investment project under the Nigerian Sugar Master Plan currently producing raw sugar. The N64 billion investment project was built in support of the nation’s drive to attain self-sufficiency in sugar production while contributing significantly to Nigeria’s agricultural output.
Sunti Golden Sugar Estate is part of the Flour Mills Group ’s downstream investment in Nigeria’s sugar value -chain. Starting with the delivery of a stellar commissioning event of the $140 million Sugar plantation and production facility in Niger State, by President Buhari, and a national PR campaign.
